Jacob Case – Mr. Case thanked everyone for coming.  He congratulated all the third graders who had perfect scores on their IREAD3 tests.  He thanked teachers, staff, administrators, and parents for all the hard work that was put in for those kids to pass that test and stated that’s amazing.  He congratulated the Eaton and Albany Math Bowl teams.  He reminded everyone the work in Albany is still going on in town until November.  He informed everyone the bridge is shut down as well so if you head towards Albany, please find a different route and keep everyone safe.

Valerie Alexander – Ms. Alexander stated she’s excited to hear about the Royerton students having nice weather at Camp Flat Rock.  She stated it was nice to see all the third graders tonight and see all the shining stars we have.  She congratulated the Eaton and Albany Math Bowl teams.  She is excited for the fourth graders going to IMS for their field trip and stated it sounds like a lot of fun.  She congratulated Mr. Brewer and Ms. Kunk.

Lance Engle – Mr. Engle concurred with his fellow board members.  He stated he enjoyed having all the people here for the students who got perfect scores on the IREAD3 test.  He commented a word that comes to mind is community.  He stated it takes a community for these kids to be successful and have a great start in their academic career for getting a perfect score on IREAD3.  He stated like Mr. Case said; it’s teachers, parents, administrators, and aides.  He commented it takes a community for these kids to be successful and keeping them on the right track and it was wonderful to be able to honor them tonight.  He stated we are definitely into Spring and are close to the finish with field trips, athletics trying to catch up from all the rain, and kids participating in extra-curricular activities.  He congratulated the Eaton and Albany Math Bowl teams.  He stated we are on the home stretch now with about six weeks to go.  He stated it’s coming up fast and we will be graduating kids before we know it.  He thanked everyone for their donations.
